The Ministry of Railways has published the maximum age limit of ongoing applications for assit loco pilots from 30 to 33 years. The process began on January 20, 2024. relaxed age can apply online starting January 31, 2024.

  • Application Start: January 20, 2024.
  • Age Relaxation: January 31, 2024,
  • Last Date: February 19

Application Fee

  • OBC/UR: 500/-
  • RC: 250/-


Age Limit (as of July 1, 2024): 18-33 years  

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 33 Years.

Upper Limit of Date of Birth (Not Before)

UR and EWS: July 2, 1991

OBC (NCL): July 2, 1988

SC and ST: July 2, 1986

Lower Limit of Date of Birth (Not After)

All Candidates: July 1, 2006


Important Note:
If a candidate is eligible for age relaxation on more than one ground, he/she will get the maximum among the relaxations for which he/she is
 eligible (not cumulative).
SC, ST, and OBC (NCL) candidates applying against UR vacancies will not get any age relaxation
