Eligibility Criteria for Senior Resident (SR), Professor and other Job
Educational Qualification:
- Professor: Qualification and Teaching experience should be as per Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi and Health and Family Welfare Department Government of Gujarat recruitment rules as amended from time to time.
- Associate Professor: Qualification and Teaching experience should be as per Medical Council of India, New Delhi, and Health and Family Welfare Department Government of Gujarat recruitment rules as amended from time to time.
- Assistant Professor: Qualification and Teaching experience should be as per Medical Council of India, New Delhi and Health and Family Welfare Department Government of Gujarat recruitment rules as amended from time to time.
- Senior Resident: DNB/M.Ch in Surgical Oncology or DNB/D.M in Medical Oncology or M.D./DNB in Radiotherapy.
- Psychiatric: M.D. (Psychiatry)/M.D. (Psychological Medicine)/M.D. in Medicine with a Diploma in Psychological Medicine/DNB (Psychiatry).
Junior Lecturer in Paediatric Oncology: M.D. (Paediatrics)/DNB (Paediatrics).
Junior Resident in Palliative Medicine: MBBS
Resident Medical Officer (RMO): PG with MBBS degree of a university/recognized by the Government of Gujarat or any other qualification mentioned in the first or second schedule to the Indian Medical Council. Postgraduate (PG) Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics or Paediatrics or Anaesthesiology, or Radiology or Psychiatry or Clinical Pathology of Statutory university in India or any equivalent qualifications recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Radio Physicist:
- A post-graduate degree in Physics and Diploma in Radiological Physics or Medical Physics obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central Government or State Government Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956 OR (ii) A Graduate degree in science with Physics as principal subject and postgraduate degree in Radiological Physics or Medical Physics obtained from any Universities.
T.O.: M.D. (Transfusion Medicine)/M.D. (Pathology)
Medical Officer:
- Possess a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central Government or a State Government Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956.
- Basic knowledge of computer application (CA) as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967 and
- Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both Languages.
