Central Railway Cultural (CRC) Quota Recruitment 2017 Apply Online
Government of India, Ministry of Railways, Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Central Railway invites online application for recruitment against Cultural Quota (Group ‘C’ Posts), in VII CPC scale level 3/2, against Cultural Quota, of Hindustani Classical Singer (Male/Female) for the year 2016-17 over Central Railway. The above posts are open to all regardless of Community and there is no reservation for any community. Further, only the candidates qualified in the Written Test shall be called for Practical Demonstration. Eligible candidate can apply online registration starts from 20th December 2016 and close on 3rd January 2017.

Passed 10 + 02 examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate from a recognised Board, affiliated to COBSE/India or its equivalent. 50% marks are not required for SC/ST/Exservicemen or where the candidates possess higher qualification i.e. Graduation/Post Graduation etc from a Recognised University. |

Diploma/Degree/Post Graduation in Hindustani Classical Vocal Music only from recognized University or equivalent approved Board or Institutions such as Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Bhatkhande Music School / Prayag Sangeet Vidyalaya. |

1) All India Radio Grade Certificate in Classical / Light vocal (B,B High, A and higher) 2) Three years experience in Hindustani Classical & Light Vocal preferably in Doordarshan/All India Radio/Reputed Musical Group (i.e. the Group which has performed at various platforms with Artist/ Artists of National Calibre or a Group consisting of Artists, who have either performed in All India Radio/Television/Television & Film Industry)/Television channels with necessary documentary proof. 3) Certificate in Individual Award Winning performance in Hindustani Classical and Light Vocal at State/National level Competition/ Performances. |

Note: The candidates, both Male and Female, should also have the ability and experience of Light Vocal and past/current Indian cinema Songs in Hindi language. They also should have ability to read and write notations.
Recruitment Process: Written Test, followed by a Practical Demonstration.
Practical Demonstration.

Written Test consisting of Objective Type Questions (Minimum 40% marks are required for qualifying for Practical Demonstration). Questions will be objective multiple choice types, based on General Awareness, Mathematics, Mental Ability & Music Related Subject. There will be negative marking in the test and 1/3rd of the marks allotted for the question will be deducted for every wrong answer. Written test will be conducted on OMR sheet. |

Examination Fee: (A Non-refundable): 500/- for Unreserved / OBC Male candidates. 250/- for SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / Persons with Disability (PWD) / Women / Minorities and Economically Backward Classes. The payment can be made by using debit card / credit card / Internet Banking etc.
